So, without further ado, what’s new in the 2023 Subaru Ascent?

A Bolder Look with Redesigned Front and Rear Elements

On the outside of the three-row family SUV, the Subaru Ascent has received a bolder look with redesigned front and rear elements, making the 2023 model the most eye-catching iteration yet. This is made possible by several new exterior features, including a fresh front fascia with a more prominent grille, redesigned LED headlights and taillights, and a more aggressive front bumper cover. As if that wasn’t enough, the Onyx Edition adds exclusive black-finish exterior and interior elements that you won’t find anywhere else in the 2023 Ascent trim levels.

The Best Standard and Available Features Yet

Just like the exterior, the interior of the 2023 Subaru Ascent comes with the best standard and available features yet. Standard in every model, for example, one will find wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, a new tablet-style touchscreen interface, and the latest version of EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology, which now comes with a Wide-Angle Mono Camera. The added camera expands the driver’s range of vision, making it easier to recognize pedestrians and bicyclists sooner, especially when entering an intersection at low speeds. Or, if the driver doesn’t react to EyeSight’s automatic alert in time, the system will apply the brakes when necessary in order to avoid hitting bicyclists, pedestrians, or anyone else.

In addition to all of this, there are dozens of available features on higher trim levels. Among them, one will find Automatic Emergency Steering, a Surround View Monitor featuring a 360-degree overhead view, and a Harman Kardon® QuantumLogic™ surround sound speaker system with the new Cabin Connect system. An invaluable addition for the three-row families, Cabin Connect allows the driver to broadcast their voice via the overhead console microphone, which then transmits through the rear speakers. In other words, the driver of the 2023 Subaru Ascent can quickly and conveniently communicate with the passengers all the way back in the third row. Even better, Cabin Connect is available on all trim levels equipped with the Harman Kardon® QuantumLogic™ surround sound speaker system.
