Subaru Crosstrek Conquers Winter

The all-new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek is crushing the winter sales months. In December of 2023, Crosstrek sales were up over 17% compared to the same time in 2022. The smaller Subaru happens to be the best-selling vehicle in its segment. 

Oh, Canada, My Canada

In the USA’s northern neighbor, Canada, the Crosstrek is selling just as well. Canadians reportedly purchased so many 2024 Subaru Crosstrek models in December that sales rose 13% compared to December 2022. That is, in fact, the best month of sales the Crosstrek has ever enjoyed. 

All-Wheel Drive

No matter the weather, people continue to flock to the Crosstrek. This makes sense since it, like every other Subaru car and SUV besides the BRZ, gets Subaru Symmetrical AWD as a standard feature. 

All-New, All-Better

When redesigning the 2024 model, Subaru gave the Crosstrek 30 more horsepower and 36 more lb-ft of torque for the 2.5-liter Inline-4. The newly released Crosstrek Wilderness gets even more off-road prowess with a 4.11 final drive ratio, a transmission cooler, and a higher 9.3-inch ground clearance, which is greater than that of the Ford Bronco Sport Badlands and the upcoming 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser. The Wilderness also has revised suspension, allowing higher degrees of approach, breakover, and departure angles of 20, 21.1, and 33 degrees. 

Off-Road Capability 

Because the Crosstrek is an all-year-round vehicle, it features the brilliant X-MODE system that allows you to tell the vehicle what type of terrain you are driving on so that it can make the most of its traction and stability control systems.

Safe For 11 Years

With so many new upgrades on the Crosstrek, one thing hasn’t changed: safety. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) gave the Crosstrek their coveted Top Safety Pick award. The Crosstrek has been awarded either Top Safety Pick or Top Safety Pick+ every single year since it entered the market in 2013. That is 11 years straight of being one of the safest vehicles money can buy.
